Brilliant Video Productions Inc has been open since January of 2001. It’s owner Skip Bensley has been working in video production since 1986. |

What is your shooting style? |
|
At Brilliant Video Productions we shoot in a documentary non-obtrusive style. We capture your moments as they unfold. Brides sometimes ask our shooters if we actually made it to the wedding. This just means we are doing our jobs by capturing your moment rather then creating one.
How Many hours of coverage will we have?
The length of coverage is dependent on the type of package you select, and we are flexible to make special arrangements to meet your needs.
How many people will be taking video?
This depends on the video package you select. We can provide as much videographer and camera coverage as necessary to capture your event. The standard wedding pacage includes a single videographer, but a second camera and/or videographer is optional. |

| What type of cameras and tapes do you use? |
|
Brilliant Video Productions uses "3-Chip Digital” mini DV cameras. Digital cameras have 530 lines of resolution. More lines of resolution means better picture. We use Canon mini-DV Cameras mostly, the GL-1, GL-2-and XL-1. We use mini DV tapes to record on.

| What kind of lighting do you use? |
|
We use camera mounted 50-watt lights. The Camera light has shades and we often bounce the lighting off white ceilings whenever possible. The Cameras are low light sensitive so the do not require much.

| How many and what kind of microphones do you use? |
|
Audio quality is just as important as video quality. At the ceremony, we will have the groom wear a wireless microphone and have another one mounted on the camera. At the reception we will take ambient sound from our cameras and when interviewing guests we will use a wireless hand held microphone.

| How do you edit the wedding video? |
|
Brilliant Video Productions uses final cut pro to edit all its weddings. Final Cut Pro is an all digital non-linear editing software package for apple-based computers. We also use DVD studio pro for DVD production.

| Can I have my wedding on DVD? |
|
Brilliant Video Productions will deliver your final edited wedding on DVD. It will be in a Hollywood style case with photos and details from your special day.
Additional Copies are available for 50.00 each. Brilliant Video can also make a DVD archive of everything shot on your day at additional cost if you wish to keep the raw footage for later use.

| How can I see samples of your work? |
|
Brilliant Video has streamed video online. Brilliant Video Productions Inc. can also video stream your wedding DVD to the web at additional charge to friends and family can look at your wedding DVD whenever they want. Please call 508-545-1536 to inquire about this offering.

| What about the contract? |
|
When you decide to hire Brilliant Video Productions you will be sent two copies of the contract. 50% must be enclosed as your reservation fee upon signing the contract, with the balance due the day of the event. This is the same as most photographers.

| Are you familiar with both our ceremony and reception sites? |
|
Brilliant Video Productions will contact and visit both locations to make sure everyone knows where they are going, and where they are shooting that day. We leave nothing to chance. If we already are familiar with the venue we will still call and re-introduce ourselves and let them know we are coming.
What will you be wearing?
Our Videographers dress professionally. They typically dress corporate casually depending on the season, and we are happy to discuss any special requests you might have regarding dress. |
